A cat with diabetes mellitus may progress to a disease known as diabetic ketoacidosis. In these animals, the decreased amount of insulin causes the liver to use other compounds as a source of energy instead of glucose.

I normally delete these posts on sight, but if you guys find them useful perhaps I shouldn't.
I'll set up a special forum for them instead and move this ad there.

FYI
if anyone would like to try this with their cats, save your money. My friend told me how to do it, she did it with her cats. She took a regular sitz bath...you know, those things that hospitals give you to soothe your bottom? Well you can find them in any drug store, anyway...you fill it with flushable litter and place it on the toilet and then remove the other litter tray(s) from the house. the kitty will start using the "litter bath" to do their buisness. As the cat becomes accustomed to going there, you start the training by cutting a smallish hole in the center of the basin and put the litter around the outside of the rest thats still there. continue this process, making the hole a little larger each week or so, untill there is no need for the "litter bath" any more. the gradual opening will get your cat uccustomed to the water noises that are inevitable. Its the same process that the add was saying their product does....but in my opinion, It's cheaper AND more sanitary since you can just dispose of the old sitz bath and use a new one with each new hole cutting.
Also, my friend told me that males were easier to train to do this than females, but I don't know how accurate that is. I've been planning on trying this with my Vic, I'll be starting soon. I'll let everyone know if it is successful. I sure do hate litter! I'll try anything once to try to get rid of it!!

Well not sure why this was moved to spam. I hope that people still see it. Been looking over the content of this site and really feel it would be help to any player. I hope people get use of the site. They charged for years and just now went free.
